Eco Brick Project by Rajesh chandra

To encourage students to  contribute towards preservation of the environment, a classroom. activity was recently initiated in RNI Inter College, Bhagwanpur, Haridwar, by Rajesh Chandra, Assistant art teacher. He taught the students about "Eco Bricks" and how these are useful in minimising pollution caused by single- use plastic items. Under this initiative the students started collecting plastic wrappers first from their classes and sroundings.
About more than 300 eco bricks were made by students during their winter break. The Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun under the guidance of Dr.Sangeeta Angom provided the students with an opportunity to go on an educational tour as a reward for their eco brick projects.
